The Department of English, the College of Liberal Arts, and the Creative Writing International program present a reading in celebration of National Poetry month by Claudia Keelan, author of We Step Into The Sea (poems) and Ecstatic Émigré (essays). Author of eight books, and the editor of Interim Poetry and Poetics, Claudia Keelan is a Barrick Scholar and the 2018 winner of the Nevada Board of Regents Creative Activities Award.

This free event will also announce the new Test Site Poetry Series, which will publish new collections of poetry in partnership with Interim and the University of Nevada Press.

Reception begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by the 7:00 p.m. reading.
